Today’s message from Science of Mind asked “what do you suppose would happen if you believed what Jesus said with a deep inward feeling and an expanded sense of its meaning?  

“I And My Father Are One, was proclaimed by the wisest man who ever lived”.  Science of Mind asks : “Shouldn’t we accept this simply, directly and sincerely?   …..Nature is a living example, a continuous reminder, that there is a Spirit animating, and sustaining everything, a law governing, coordinating, binding all together – a unifying Principle holding everything in place.”

Knowing we are One and being that which we know leads directly to respect for all life to live their intentions in freedom and in peace – the mantra of Life Rights.  Being that which we know also is the recognition that what we do for ourselves we are actually doing for others and what we do for others we actually do for ourselves. When we have unconditional love for another, we have unconditional love for ourselves.  When we criticize another, we criticize ourselves. 

Know  ”I Am My Father Are One” and more importantly be that which you know.

This Series Explores “Jesus and the Awakening to God-Consciousness” Transcending Traditional Dogma and Religious Institutions.

Deepak teams up with leading Unity minister Wendy Craig-Purcell for a bold upcoming six-part video Web series on “Jesus and the Awakening to God-Consciousness,” based on Chopra’s recent book “The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore.”

Henry David Thoreau wrote Walden. In that book he shared this inspiration: ” If one advances confidently in the direction if his dreams and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unrecognized in common hours.”

Mary Manin Morrissey during a recent presentation at First Unity of St. Petersburg reminded us of the importance of clearly defining our dreams. Life Rights is a dream that is starting to come true. Thoreau’s freedom was compromised when he was jailed as a result of protesting the United States war with Mexico. This event had such a profound impact on him he wrote the famous essay “Civil Disobedience”. In this essay Thoreau  wrote “….the state is created for man whose power comes from the Divine and not the other way around.” Thoreau delivered a powerful message on the importance of freedom in that essay.

I feel Thoreau  would have written a little differently today. Respectful of the time, I am not judgmental of his choice of gender specific words. We all have to move past a specific word or phrase to the core intent. We  are blessed when we truly acknowledge the Divine Love of God in all regardless of color, gender, sexual preferences…when we know Namaste within and move beyond using the word as friendly greeting.

There are many Life Rights violations, abuses of freedom. Our opportunity is right now. “Peace Begins Right Here Right Now” with each one of us when we allow the Consciousness of Divinity to emerge. This Divine Consciousness does not fuel the negative emotions surrounding negative events.  Violations of Life Rights begin to be diffused with our strengthening consciousness that all life has the right to live their intentions in freedom and peace.

Henry David Thoreau  stood for freedom and peace. I stand for freedom and peace. If this makes sense to you, please demonstrate your support of this belief by registering at www.LifeRights.com and sharing this message with others.
