Beverly, isn’t that the truth – so evident as to why we rely upon the mirroring, the true value of friendship and connection. I call the friend every year on my bday who said to me, “Temple – your drinking does not flatter you.” Now – 26 years later I thank her for my life – that I am alive…I was destroying myself by not listening to my inner nature. If people would realize – it is our responsibility to share the truth according to our own understanding and then not feel attached to the outcome.

I very much enjoyed this analogy.. what comes to mind is that I sometimes have difficulty allowing someone else to remove things from my “bucket” because by doing so, I relinquish some control of that emotion… other times it is because of my humble nature not wanting to trouble someone else, and under both circumstances needing it desperately..

Ah,Temple,this story especially touches my heart.
It reminds me of all the souls who never failed to see my light when I was convinced it could never shine again,all the people,and animals,whose light I could see and nurture when they couldn’t see it for themselves.

What a potent story of what true honor,determination and a faith wrought from pure love can accomplish.
