Beautifully expressed. At our home, we call these "doable doses." A little effort started is so much better than a dream dashed!

Temple, such a good piece. Really makes one think about how much we don't get done due to feelings of overwhelm when so much could be accomplished in bite size pieces.

Thank you for the lovely reminder.
Take care and enjoy your day, each precious moment.

Love and blessings, Veronica Hay

This is wonderful advise, to move away from the urgent to the important in a way. The last few moments (urgency) i think it is also tied up with fear of facing ourselves and the reality of our life.
By putting it off and not starting it becomes a pile up. By not wanting to complete and be distracted or excited by the change of doing something different, be fore finishing, i think in a way it is also fear of failure. so if you like we can say, since i did not finish it, i can not be blamed if it is not accepted as good enough.
Would like you to please consider why we do not want to take the responsiblity, and how can we start taking small steps to heal ourselves with peace instead of conflict.
Where is the Buddha quote from,i love it,thank you

Great post! I've experienced that lately too. I've been working on my first book and just wasn't going anywhere; until I took the time to concentrate, work on a few chapters a week, and "be in the moment." I help startup business clients and I usually tell them the same thing: sometimes you just have to start your dream, and take little steps as you go along.

I like the part in your post about not waiting to do things. Waiting means we miss chances to live our purpose. Thanks for the message!
