How many couples do you meet who have been together for 30, 40 or 50 years that you would actually like to model, very few? Most of them come from the paradigm that they actually survived each other all those years, rather than each and every year, having a ceremony and asking one another, how can I support you this coming year in being the best individual possible.

Coming up on my 23rd wedding anniversary, we have “survived” a lot of things, but not each other. We both know that the only way we have gotten this far (through “good” and “bad”) is in being 100% ourselves and supporting the other to do the same. We have (and thankfully, still) bring out the very best in one another and I can honestly say, there is no one I’d rather spend time with.

And here’s to living with more zeal and enthusiasm!
