Amendment 2 and The Right of All To Live Their Intentions In Freedom and Peace.

Dearest Friends,

I am often asked about the position of Life Rights on specific issues.  My response is always the same. I remind people of the foundation consciousness of Life Rights and on occasion provide as accurate information as possible on situations that deserve our attention.

The Life Rights initiative has a very clear definition of purpose. Simply, Life Rights is the right of all life to live their intentions in freedom and peace. If you have read my previous articles and have seen my videos and related material at http://www.liferights.org you know if we adopt the consciousness of Life Rights, then issues including, crime, war, mistreatment of anyone would not be possible. The difference between Life Rights and most other organizations with a social cause mission is that  Life Rights consciousness prevents a negative situation from occurring in the first place.

For example, there are organizations that help people who have experienced abuse. A person having the consciousness of freedom and peace for all life could not initiate any abuse for a person or any other life in this Universe. As importantly, none of us would do anything to harm the environment which is our home. I encourage you to spend the time you need to understand the significance of Life Rights. If you have any questions or otherwise would like clarity on this, please use the comment section below. I will do my best to answer all your questions.

How does the consciousness of Life Rights align with current and proposed legislation. Ultimately that is your decision.  Currently, Amendment #2 is on the ballot in Florida.  My purpose is to bring to your attention the nature of this proposal and  encourage you to; first, vote on November 4th and; second,  and vote on Amendment #2  according to your belief.

In summary, Amendment #2 states:

“In as much as marriage is the legal union of only one man and one woman as husband and wife, no other legal union that is treated as marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized.”

It is important for us to alway understand legislation that affects our lives. As this relates to Amendment #2 I encourage you to focus on the meaning of the phrase “substantial equivalent” in this proposal. Consider the following example: Imagine a company in Florida that currently offers employees health care benefits. There are many companies that choose to provide such benefits and furthermore offer relationship partners, heterosexual or otherwise, the same benefits as traditionally married couples.

Amendment #2 placed people in a committed relationship currently covered by benefit programs offered to traditionally married couples at risk to losing those benefits. This is labeling certain life as being more valuable than others which is directly opposite the foundation of Life Rights.  Life Right does not support this Amendment.

God bless you and all. I appreciate you considering this matter and always have unconditional love for you.

Abundant blessings

Temple

The Consciousness of Life Rights

How do you feel about the “right of all to live their intentions in freedom and peace” ?

Each of us has a list of extreme situations that are opposite of who we are.  For many these include: physical abuse, crime, war, pollution and  repression. Do you remember a person making a comment about you that didn’t feel good?  Have you experienced a partner or child saying words in anger that you never thought were possible? Maybe some words have come out of you that you never thought were possible. Do you find yourself judging a co-worker, a person of different size, age, color or point of view opposite of yours?

Life Rights is the consciousness of Unconditional Love for  all life and the planet earth that is our home. Unconditional Love is natural for us once we become aware and then know  we are all connected.  When we help another we are helping ourselves. The reverse is also true.

Life Rights is our “Source Thought” about life and our home, planet Earth. Our Source Thought is the wisdom manifest from the Highest Power in ourselves.  God writes in “Conversations With God”  documented by Neale Donald Walsh,  “Mine is always your Highest Thought, your Clearest Word, your Grandest Feeling……The Highest Thought is always that which contains joy. The Clearest Words are those which contain truth. The Grandest Feeling is that feeling which you call love.”

I don’t feel joy when I experience trash on our landscape, see images of hunger, read of incarceration, or experience laws made for the convenience of lawmakers.

Life Rights is our  Source Consciousness.  All thoughts opposite of freedom and peace for all originate from separateness thinking.  Some refer to this as thinking from our ego or feelings from what Eckhart Tolle calls pain bodies.  The label is not important. Understanding that separateness thinking is the source of negative situations is important. Being one with the consciousness of God while understanding it is God’s intention for each one of us to be unique is important.

Divine Unconditional Love is one accepted definition of God. We are individual manifestations of God and our Source Consciousness is Divine Unconditional Love.  Any thoughts, feelings or words containing anything less than Divine Unconditional Love are opportunities for us to clear the blockages to Divine Grace within us. As we do and truly become as individuals what we know as Oneness, all will be living in freedom and peace.

I conclude the same way I started : “how does this feel to you” ?  I stand for Life Rights. Life Rights is my life’s mission. The Life Rights Initiative that I founded is a consciousness focus. The consciousness of love, freedom and peace.  Please notice love, freedom and peace are marvelous feelings not linked to a particular faith. Love, freedom and peace are a way of life that is possible if we allow it.

If you feel this consciousness is where you want to be, then begin by considering the following:

You Have Experienced A Love Story –Not Like This

Namaste:  The Divine Energy and Divine Love within me, honors the Divine Energy and Divine Love within you.

I purposely set aside  a portion of my week for the so very important initiative Life Rights .  You may know that I am working closely with Steve Pohlit who’s energy is “off the charts” with me on this mission.

I asked Steve if he had seen the story of the lion who was found when a cub, raised for awhile in civilization by a couple of guys and then because lion cubs grow into lions, ran out of space and was released in Africa. Steve said he had not seen it and I could tell he was thinking “oh here we go another one of those Temple things” .

We sat together Steve became quiet  and like mine, his eyes opened wide with amazement.  We share the understanding that all life has Divine Love as a soul. We share the knowing of Oneness. Our intention is to help many understand the bliss of that knowing.  We also share the appreciation of knowing it is wonderful to have the emotions we are blessed with.

Yes it is a really good idea to have have the tissue box nearby.. like in your lap.  I know your reaction and I honor you for your response. Please consider this, once you have watched this about a hundred times and sent it to everyone you love and even don’t love :) ,  think about how you feel about Life Rights ..the right of all to live their intention in freedom and peace.  If this resounds with you,  please make sure you are registered at www.LifeRights.com   and ask everyone you know to do the same.  This is not a request for funds, this is a mission of building community, a community of Life Rights consciousness.

Abundant Blessings,  Temple Hayes:  Enjoy!

An Amazing Development For Life Rights and LifeRights.com

Introductory comments by Steve Pohlit: This story began to unfold on May 28th in the office of Temple Hayes CEO, Life Rights Movement. Temple and I were having our weekly Life Rights Movement strategy meeting and we were discussing the progress on a couple websites including this blog. Temple very clearly commented that we needed the domain name LifeRights.com We already knew the name was not available. We researched who owned it and …. well watch the video that later captures an unrehearsed, candid meeting where I bring the latest news to Temple:

Thank you Rebecca and many blessings to you and all,

Temple Hayes

Interview with Temple Hayes about her new book The Right to Be You

Interview with Temple Hayes about her new book The Right to Be You

by Rebecca Johnson

This is a little book with a big message and it incorporates your Peace Through People Initiative Life Rights. So we have much to discuss. But, let’s start with the sub-title: The little book that could …

Like Thomas the little engine that could, we all need to move beyond I think I can to I know I can make a difference in this world. At its core, the message of this book is very simple: Love thy neighbor as thyself. But like all simple truths, it’s complicated and it took me a long time to taste that truth. I was raised a southern Baptist and came of age at a time when Civil Rights and Women’s Rights were in full force and Gay Rights, Animal Rights and Religious Rights were being hotly debated. We seemed to be screaming at each other love only those neighbors who look like us and believe the same things. I wanted to bring all those different rights under one umbrella. Life Rights which covers everyone and that means you have the right to be you.

The other need for the creation of Life Rights is from a perspective of spiritual leadership, people in life need a direct focused intention. When I have found myself with various groups of people in the past, speaking of significant issues in the world, most people say, ”I want to do something but there is so much that needs to be done that I do not do anything.” Life Rights is single minded intention which can play a major role in changing our world.

What about Religious or Spiritual Rights. You’re a minister. How important is that to your Peace Through People Initiative?

Well this initiative is in its infancy and while the little book introduces the concept of Life Rights, we must think of it in terms of the larger shift in consciousness that’s going on right now. With Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth and the internet interviews about the book with Oprah. I think it’s time for the spiritual left to come out of the closet and show that Christians can embrace other beliefs, other religions, other ways to the truth.

I speak now as author and activist and I literally and figuratively take off my proverbial ministerial robe because religion has too often separated us and too often been the cause of war. Look at the Middle East. Look in our own back yards. We use religion to condemn people who think differently. We say God won’t love you or accept you if you’re gay or you believe in abortion or your Buddhist and you couldn’t possibly have a soul if you’re an animal. Religious Rights and Spiritual rights are necessary to honor within all people, however Life Rights eliminates all together the ability, the permission, the thought of taking another life and calling it God’s will. As I heard when I was a teenager, Guns do not kill people, people kill people. So on this same intention, God does not create killing, people create it.

It sounds like all these rights and our differences come down to our religious and spiritual beliefs.

In essence, yes. Beliefs are very complicated and layered. As stated by Jesus, it is done unto you as you believe. Our beliefs create our world, our day to day responses and reactions. They have to do with when and where you were born. Religion plays a part but so does the family and society in which you were raised. The environment in which you live.Government, too. And that’s the difficult part. To accept someone, love someone, embrace someone who believes differently than you.

Is that why you open this book with the quote “Peace begins right here, right now.”

Yes. It’s my personal mantra. And it has served me well all through my life. At the age of five, in a small, southern Baptist town, I had my first mystical experience, a call to ministry. Can you imagine how big a dream this was for a young girl in a fundamentalist church? Women couldn’t be leaders much less a minister. And I wasn’t your typical southern belle. I was an athlete and served in the military. These were hard roles for girls to assume. I think they still are today on many levels. I think that’s why I was so attracted to new thought and new thought churches. But even in the 1980s, you know talking about going to a new thought church was just as big a deal as talking about going to a gay bar. And even if you wanted to participate in either one, they were very hard to find. Even then, I consciously chose not to protest or convert. I think I was trying to accept that others believed differently than me.

Is that when you began to believe in yourself?

I think it was the start of the process. At first, I was afraid to be me. That’s when I discovered alcohol. I could secretly believe what I wanted without having to feel the consequences of my thinking. Recovery was an important step not only understanding other’s beliefs, but embracing my own, what I truly believed, and from that came acceptance and the ability to live an authentic life.

So, understanding your own beliefs and acceptance of yourself is key not only to inner peace, but world peace?

Absolutely. How can anyone imagine being one with the world, being one with others when we cannot be one within ourselves. When I feel separate, I perceive others as being separate. When you understand it’s okay to be you, it’s okay to believe what you believe and be happy about it. Then you can love others, too. I want children to get that message now.

You wrote this book, this message especially for children?

I want to find out how children of all ages in our community are doing and I’m using the book as a vehicle. I want to talk to students in schools, children in hospitals, seniors, the homeless tent community, and I want to involve the leaders and activists in our community. I’m hoping to speak to Rotary and Lion’s clubs, the chamber, at libraries wherever the opportunity presents itself for me to discuss our Life Rights and find out how people are really doing, what they really think.

And of course, the media. I’m hoping that they will support this Peace Through People initiative and endorse all our Life Rights. I’d like to get sponsors to help print more books so we can provide a copy to anyone who wants to read it. And I hope to put some of the proceeds back into charities that help support all our life rights.

Instead of saying that our children are our future, we need to realize that now is the time to start with our children….in the present time. We need to teach our children how to be in nature and honor life from insects, to furry creatures, to the winged creatures to all of life. Children today have become desensitized…they say well at least only 4 people were killed, it could have been more….what kind of statement is this? We have all lowered our standards in this life. If it is happening to you, it is happening to me…life is precious and as we honor it in all things, we ourselves will live longer and happier lives.

Where can people get copy of the book? How can they help with the initiative?

Right now, the book is available at Wing’s Bookstore and Café and soon there will be a wider distribution. All interested will be receive the latest information by subscribing for email updates at www.TempleHayesBlog.com

Thank you Rebecca and many blessings to you and all,

Temple Hayes
